🇷🇼 Rwanda — Gorillas, Recovery and the Greenest Country in Africa

Rwanda is one of the cleanest countries in Africa and the site of one of the most remarkable national recoveries in modern history. The mountain gorilla experience in Volcanoes National Park — a permit costs $1,500 per person but includes a once-in-a-lifetime hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat — is widely considered the single most extraordinary wildlife experience in the world. 🇸🇹 São Tomé and Príncipe — The Island Nobody Has Found Yet

São Tomé and Príncipe is a tiny island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, 300km off the west coast of Africa. It has extraordinary rainforest, Portuguese colonial architecture, some of the world's finest cacao plantations (São Tomé chocolate is internationally prized), pristine beaches with almost no development and a population so small that you will encounter the same people everywhere you go. 🇲🇦 Southern Morocco — The Other Morocco

Most visitors to Morocco spend their time in Marrakech, Fes and the Atlantic coast. Southern Morocco — the Draa Valley, Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes, Ouarzazate (where Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed), the Todra Gorge and Dades Valley — is a completely different landscape.
